I decided to go with a clean and simple card so that the details of the image stand out better. The embellishments I added were minimal for the same reason.
I'd like to introduce to you the rest of the design team, I feel so very lucky to be working with a very talented group of ladies:
This cute image called Leah Bunny is one of the Easter digitals from Whimsie stamps. I decided to use a pure white cardstock for the base of my image so the coloring will stand out better. I also only used dew drops for an embellishment. The embossing was with my cuttlebug folder and the lines going across my card were created using my scor-pal.
I just could not get over how cute he is!! He's got his brush ready to decorate some Easter eggs!

This is Anya from The Greeting Farm she is all dressed up for the holidays. I had lots of fun with adding some flower soft to her wardrobe, it gives the card dimension and texture.
Every Friday we will be creating cards for Christmas, but every first Friday of the month we will have a Christmas project challenge. Stay tuned for that coming next week!! I got the information from the newspaper under the health and fitness section (had to make it match the stamp of course!) which gave tips to keep healthy. I didn't want to get the newspaper ink on my card so I printed it onto copy paper and distressed the edges.

The sentiment I chose comes from a stampin' up stamp set. I thought it really suited the image well. I've added some raffia ribbon for texture and dew drops around Edwin and to the corners of my card.

I decided to make an easel card, so far they are my most favorite cards to make since it is more interactive than a regular card. I have taken several photos of this card so you can see it at all angles.

These little stars actually come Clear. I used my copic markers to color them and made them the same color as I colored my image. Since I love easel cards, I thought they were the perfect little addtion to help it stand up. Joy will be selling them at the store soon too!! So keep an eye out for it!

I just love this pretty paper from Basic Grey, it really is so pretty!! Anyway I am so happy that there is a new monkey set, they are the cutest monkeys I've ever seen.

The first challenge is a recipe challenge. The recipe is to use 2 layers of paper. 3 buttons and add glitter. Pretty easy right! The image I am using today is from the Sugar Nellie collection. Isn't she super cute!

After I colored her I added some half backed pearls for earrings. I'm not so sure if I should have left them out or not, what do you think? I was also thinking of coloring her in another color but it just seemed red was the best for her.

I really had no time to add or take things out since my coloring was just horrible in both of these pictures. I hate when my coloring does not come out the way I want it to. Since the books are collectively called the "Twilight Saga" I decided to print up the definition of the word Twilight and used it as a background for my card. I added some distress ink to the teared edges of the white paper just to give it a little bit of an ancient look.
Although there will no longer be a challenge blog for all of you Twilight fans, I invite you to join the fun that my friend Linda and I have created. We have a blog called Pocket Edward's Excellent Adventures. This blog is truly just for fun and laughs!! I hope you like it!
The embellishment I used were Dew Drops. I know there are dew drops that are available in nearly every color but by using your copic pens to color them, you get color that matches exactly to your colored image on paper.
I tried to get a close up of the basket to show you that I colored my dew drops and that they match really close with an egg in the basket. One other thing I did was decorate the eggs in the basket since they come without decoration. Hope you have time to join us for this challenge!
I decided to use the colors for Valentine's day using Miss Anya Love. She is probably my most favorite out of this set of stamps.
I've decided to create an easel card since they are so much fun. Not only fun to make but to receive too. I forgot to take a closer shot of the flowers I used. They were created using Nellie Snellen flower punches. They punch the flower out, and then emboss the petals too!! I love that feature. If you want to get them too, I got my punches HERE.

This is Butterfly Emma from the new Sugar Plums Spring Kit. Don't you just LOVE her!! I wanted my card to be made with colors to represent Spring but also make it a "love" card as this is the challenge for Flutterby Wednesday. Create a "love" card, kind of an anything goes card.
I have used my Martha Stewart butterfly punches for an added Spring time effect and some punched flowers with dew drops for the centers.
This is my first time making a tri shutter card and it took me a while to create. I love the result and plan to make another soon! If you have not tried it out yet now is the perfect time. You can enter it in to win a great prize from All That Scraps! Hope you will join in on both challenges. 
This stamp I am using is from The Greeting Farm, her name is Gigi. I wanted a clean and simple card. So without adding any more details, I used the smallest embellishment which are the half backed pearls, and distressed the edges around it.

She is from the Miss Anya dressy collection. I used a sketch from Mojo Monday for the layout and tried to make use of all kinds of embellishments techniques. I used my Martha Stewart heart border punch, did some dry embossing with my cuttlebug and added some pearls too!

I love all of my Belles n' Whistles stamps and of course had to incorporate them into this challenge somehow. These stamps are much bigger so I used just the faces of these adorable girls, colored them and embellished each one.
These cards are actually part of the gift that I am giving to Summer who's birthday was on Thursday... I know I'm late LOL! Anyway this is also another idea for those of you with these stamps. Create with a part of the stamp so you can get full use of them, they are very versatile.

I tried to go for the modern, and slightly vintage look by adding some lace to my card, I think it turned out ok. I am really having fun using lace on my cards... it could be just because Valentine's Day is coming up.
Now I know all of you have been anxiously awaiting the winner of my Valentine's Day candy #2, and since it's Summer's birthday I had her pick a number, she chose #397!
Since this week the Flutterby Wednesday challenge is an open one, you can create anything you want using only a fairy, pixie, angel or butterfly. The favor I created is using the brand new milk carton big shot die from Stampin' Up!. I must tell you that these are the cutest milk cartons I have ever seen, they are too sweet! I have used my Martha Stewart heart lace border punch and some satin ribbon to go around the carton. I have also added some white flowersoft to her wings and silver stickles to her dress.
For the texture part of my card I distressed the edges of the cardstock behind my image, added some lace and ribbon in the background and also added flowersoft to his bouquet. I realize that the color of the heart is pretty bright but it is actually not like that in real life. Not sure why it shows up this way.
